My name is Langston Fields and I am an Emmy-nominated graduate from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communications at Arizona State University. I currently work as a full-time editor for Right This Minute, a nationally-syndicated television show about today’s viral videos. Along with working for Right This Minute, I also do freelance videography and editing with Arizona PBS.
Before I joined Right This Minute, I worked as a Photographer/Videographer covering the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio with Cronkite News. Before that, I worked as a student videographer with Arizona Horizon on PBS where I shot and edited videos to be aired on television. I did many other jobs while I was a student including working as a Student Orientation Leader as well as a Resident Assistant.
I was born in Illinois, but was raised in Arizona since I was six years old and have been here ever since. Even though I was raised in Arizona, I am still a Chicago sports fan in every sport except when I am rooting for the Sun Devils. I played sports growing up and they are still a big part of my life. When I am not working out or working, I am probably spending time with my family and friends or cooking. I love to cook and breakfast is my favorite meal that I can eat at anytime of day.
